My mother and I had the chance to dine at Rhubarb during a trip to Asheville, NC recently and we were blown away! everything was wonderful from the wine selection to the desert. She had oysters and I opted for a pork dish. We were so pleased with the locally sourced meats and produce on offer in innovative recipes and combinations! We will definitely be returning when in Asheville again!

I wish I was a wordsmith or poet so I could accurately describe our dining experience. What a wonderful evening. The food was beyond superb, the pimento cheese hush puppies were phenomenal, the beet salad was even better! The pork chop with the grilled peach just cemented our evening. And the cherry hand-held pie!!! Yummm. The staff was excellent and attentive (Thank you Carrie). A definite must do for dinner!

Wild rice and mushroom dish was excellent (and vegan without butter). Bread service was stellar. Old fashioned with local rye was spot on; less good with bourbon. Kind service. Good vibes for gatherings of all types.

Won't lie, this wasn't our first option, but was so glad we ended up here. The food was delicious and the dessert! Woah, the peaches and cream was the best dessert I've had in a while. Wasn't too sweet, which is my preference and it was cold which made it all the more better in the heat. We sat outside since we had our dogs, and the waiters were super accommodating and sweet. Although it wasn't like other places around that had dog menus etc, they brought out water containers for our pups, and brought us some chopped carrots for them to munch on when we requested it and were super sweet. really enjoyed this place and our pups loved the carrots and water, thank you!
